On June 7, 2008, the Symphony will celebrate the end of
the Fanfare for the Future endowment campaign
with a gala evening including a concert, a reception to
meet the artists, a black tie (optional) dinner, and the
auction of the violins with auctioneer James Godfrey formerly
of Sotheby's. The ART STRINGS Gala will be held at the
Abbott Center, Darden School, University of Virginia.
