This beloved community tradition, featuring the UVA University Singers, is brimming over with your favorite holiday tunes, including “The Twelve Days of Christmas” and “Sleigh Ride.” You’ll also enjoy traditional classics like the “Hallelujah” Chorus from Handel’s Messiah.
The Family Holiday Concerts last approximately two hours, with one 15-minute intermission.
The 2018-19 season is made possible in part by a major gift from The Joseph and Robert Cornell Memorial Foundation.
Tickets will be available for sale at the door on both Saturday night, 12/1, and Sunday afternoon, 12/2. The Box Office will open in the Old Cabell Hall lobby one hour before each performance. The Box Office accepts cash, cards and checks.
The Symphony does not recommend Holiday concerts for children under the age of 6. Babies in arms are not permitted into the concert hall. All children must have their own purchased tickets and must be seated with an adult.
