Planned Giving - The Encore Society

Plan for your future and ours – leave a lasting legacy of great music!

When you make a gift through your estate, either now or at the end of your life, you help secure the Symphony’s future.  Planned gifts provide benefits to the orchestra, but may also aid you in achieving your own financial and philanthropic goals.  Legacy donors have further discovered that gift planning can allow them to make much larger gifts than they had thought possible!

There are many ways to create a legacy gift, including:

  • Gifts of Life Insurance
  • Gifts of Retirement Plans
  • Charitable Remainder Trusts
  • Charitable Lead Trusts

The Encore Society recognizes and thanks those forward thinking donors who have remembered the Charlottesville Symphony Society with a planned gift and notified it of this intention.  Encore Society members are listed in concert playbills and invited to special events.
