• Membership in the Charlottesville Symphony at the University of Virginia is open to all UVA students, faculty and community musicians through audition.
• Excepting principals, guest artists and substitutes, members are volunteers.
• Auditions take place annually in late August.

• Charlottesville Symphony does not audition for guitar, harp, piano, saxophone or tuba.
